lyrics

Cool and calm and collect
Carry on as we rise from the wreck
It’s cool and calm and collect
Long jump river as we pole vault fence
Live and direct
Never show your devils respect
Never let them see you sweat

Back when I almost lost myself
That time I almost lost my head
The shadows ran across this bed
Close confidants, they cut and fled

Every finger single me out for the blame
That time I almost jumped in front of train
Milly rocking on the edge of the knife
If I die, who’s gonna live this life

Calm down step back breathe in
Armadillo, grow a brand new skin
Boat capsized, developed fins
I took my sorrow and I made a new hymn

Calm down, step back breathe in
Armadillo, grow a brand new skin
Boat capsized, developed fins
I took my sorrow and I made a new hymn
I took my sorrow and I made a new hymn

Cool and calm and collect
Carry on as we rise from the wreck
It’s cool and calm and collect
Long jump river as we pole vault fence
Live and direct
Never show your devils respect
Never let them see you sweat

I wear my pain as a jacket
I wear my pain as a jacket
I lean back, never slacking
I lean back, never slacking

I endure like the last ten pounds in the bank
Converse dirty and the conversation’s frank
Stress go high like a tower
Grief go deep like a valley
A real smile is scarce like a tiger
Fakeness spread all around me
But I’m alive you see
I’m alive you see
I’m alive and for that I give thanks

They visited Marysia Zofia Osuchowska and she played Harp. Donna came over one time and whistled but stuck around on drums. Raimund Wong made ethereal sounds with the Tapedeck.
